Why this exists.
Dayverie is made by one person, in public, and it is built around a single stubborn idea: that ordinary days are worth keeping, and that most of them slip past unrecorded.
Two things go wrong with a good day. The first is that deciding what to do with it takes longer than the day itself — tabs, maps, group chats, three opinions and no decision, and by the time anyone agrees the light has gone. The second is worse: the days you did have leave nothing behind but four thousand unsorted photographs.
Dayverie starts with the day ahead. Answer a few honest questions and it puts real places in order around your time and budget. Less deciding where to go. More actually going.
Not a tour guide. Not a travel writer. A friend with taste who already knows the spot.
Dayverie is the new name for Veya, the same iPhone app. The App Store may still show Veya while the naming update rolls out. It plans one local outing at a time: an afternoon, an evening, or a day within a longer trip.

An outing is built from available venue information, which can be incomplete or change. Check important stops before setting out, and speak with the venue about dietary needs. Our guides distinguish illustrative examples from current recommendations and do not claim firsthand visits we have not made.
New camera-roll scans are paused. Existing photo memories remain on the device where they were created; signing in does not back them up. You can still attach photos to a kept day yourself.
