Is Dayverie the same app as Veya?
Yes. Dayverie is the new name for Veya. The App Store may still show Veya while the naming update rolls out. The download link leads to the same app.
What does Dayverie actually do?
Dayverie is an iPhone app that builds a local outing around your location, time, budget, company and mood. It brings real places into a scheduled itinerary you can inspect, adjust and follow. Keeping outings in Your days requires Pro.
Does Dayverie use AI to plan an outing?
Yes. Dayverie uses AI to help build a local itinerary around your preferences. Suggested places are checked against available venue information, rather than treating an AI-generated name or opening time as proof. Hours and prices can change, so confirm important stops directly with the venue. Dayverie does not make reservations for you.
Is this a trip planner?
Dayverie plans one local day at a time: an afternoon, a date night or a day in a city you are visiting. It does not arrange flights, hotels or a multi-day vacation.
How long does a day take to build?
The time varies with the destination and request. Dayverie shows progress while it puts the outing together; there is no fixed completion-time guarantee.
How many places end up in a day?
Between two and seven, depending on how much time you said you had. A quick outing is two or three stops; a full day is five or six; into the night can run to seven.
Which cities does it work in?
Choose your destination in the app. Available places and venue details vary by area, with more choice generally available in larger cities. A requested outing may not be possible where information or suitable places are limited.
Does Dayverie upload my camera roll?
New Rewind scans are paused. You can still add photos to a kept day yourself. Existing photo memories remain on this device; signing in does not back them up.
Do I need photo access to use Dayverie?
No. Building and following a day out does not require photo access. It is optional when you attach photos to a kept day.
Can I turn photo access off later?
Any time, in your device settings. It only affects Rewind and the photos you attach to a day you kept; everything else works without it.
Are my photos used for anything else?
No. They're never used for advertising, never used for facial recognition, and never used to build a profile of the people in them.
Is Rewind available?
New camera-roll scans are paused. Your existing memories remain accessible from Account on the device where they were created.
What's included in the free day?
One crafted day — one, ever, not one a month. Choose when to start and how long you have. Every stop is visible, sharing and map links are included, and you get one stop swap. Keeping the day requires Pro.
What does Pro cost?
$49.99 a year — about $0.96 a week — or $3.99 a week. Those are US prices; Dayverie adjusts by country, so the App Store shows you yours before you buy. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial when the App Store offers it.
Is there a trial?
A subscription trial may be available if the App Store confirms your eligibility. Check the offer and renewal price on the purchase screen. This is separate from your one lifetime free outing.
Are places guaranteed to be open?
No. Opening hours are checked where information is available, but they can be missing or change. Confirm hours, admission and reservation requirements with the venue before setting out.
Can Dayverie book a restaurant?
Dayverie helps arrange an outing; it does not confirm restaurant reservations. Book directly with the venue or its booking provider when needed.
Can I change a stop I don't like?
Yes. You can ask for another stop where suitable alternatives are available. Your free outing includes one stop swap; check the updated schedule before heading out.
Can I build the day around a place I already know?
Include the place in your brief. Dayverie tries to fit it around your location and available time, but not every place can fit every outing.
Does it know about dietary needs?
Tell Dayverie your dietary preferences and whether you want to avoid alcohol-related venues. Recommendations depend on available information. Confirm ingredients and preparation with the venue, especially for allergies or religious requirements.
Will it send me somewhere twice?
Past outings and feedback can help Dayverie add variety where alternatives exist. A place may appear again; repetition is not ruled out.
Can I send a day to someone?
Yes. Share an outing as a read-only web link that the recipient can open without an account. Links can expire. Viewing a shared page does not include permanent storage or unrestricted native app access.
Is there an Android version?
Dayverie is available for iPhone. There is no Android release date to announce. A shared outing can be viewed in a browser.
Does it work on iPad?
It runs on iPhone. There's no iPad layout yet.
Do I need an account?
You can answer the questions before signing in; an account is needed to build a day. You can sign in with email, Apple or Google. Photo memories are device-local and are not backed up by an account.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, under Account. It wipes your kept days, your ratings and everything shaping your recommendations. Note that it doesn't cancel a Pro subscription — Apple handles billing, so cancel that in your App Store settings first.
Can I start over without deleting everything?
Yes. Resetting your recommendations clears what Dayverie has learned about your taste — where it's sent you, what you rated, what it picked up — while leaving every day you've kept exactly where it is.
